Beyond The Valley 2026/27 camping

Camping at Beyond The Valley is a separate ticket. General Camp and Premium Camp show "Sold Out" on the organiser's tickets and accommodation pages, read 22 October 2026, and the entry tickets every tent needs sold out in the presale, as The Music Network reported on 6 August 2026. The tent and package prices below are the organiser's, per tent, and carry no status on its pages; whether any remains is Megatix's to say, and its own flag on each row, read 22 October 2026, is given beside it. The organiser spreads its camping answers over its information, tickets and accommodation pages and its terms, and lists hotel packages through Megatix and a travel agent.

Passes and tents

All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude the booking fee the organiser marks "+BF"; the per-tent figures are those displayed on the organiser's accommodation page, with Megatix as the seller.

  • General Camp, per person, entry ticket separate: "Sold Out" on the organiser's pages; no price is displayed there today, and Megatix lists no General Camp row (read 22 October 2026).
  • Premium Camp, per person: "Sold Out" on the organiser's pages; on Megatix, read 22 October 2026, the Premium Camping Ticket's base price is $379, flagged sold out.
  • Pre-Pitched Premium tent, 2, 3 or 4 people: $924, $1,155 or $1,644 per tent, Premium Camping included, entry tickets separate. Megatix: the 2- and 4-person rows sold out, the 3-person row "Allocation Exhausted".
  • Lux Camp Classic Tent, 2, 3 or 4 people: $1,500, $2,400 or $3,200 per tent, entry tickets separate, Valley Club included. Megatix: the 2-person rows sold out, the 4-person row "Allocation Exhausted", no 3-person row.
  • DeLux Tent, 2, 3 or 4 people: $1,860, $2,940 or $3,920 per tent, entry tickets separate. Megatix: the 2-person rows sold out; of the 4-person rows, two double beds "Allocation Exhausted" and four single beds sold out; no 3-person row.
  • Ultra DeLux Package, 2 people: $6,806, with 4 Day entry for each occupant and a Lux Vehicle Pass. Megatix: "Allocation Exhausted".

The three camps

General Camp is first come, first served: no reservations, sites coloured and numbered, no power; the organiser's advice to groups is to arrive as a convoy. Premium Camp adds a shaded communal area, premium toilets and showers with cleaners, a bar and food, and phone charging, and a Premium Campsite Car Pass to drive in. Lux Camp has its own power, a 24-hour concierge, a dedicated entry and a VIP upgrade; Lux and Pre-Pitched guests can't camp with their car. In the Accessible Campground, which has power, Tibi Access "will assist those attending our festival with accessible needs on site"; Companion Card tickets are free, there are Auslan interpreters on The Valley Stage, and the contact is accessibility@untitledgroup.com.au.

Camping with a car

A Car Pass is needed to camp beside a car. Car passes went in the presale with the four-person ticket bundles, which are sold out, and with the packages that include a Lux Vehicle Pass; the organiser's home page says "A small allocation of camping car passes will be available in a separate onsale later in the year, alongside Lux Car Passes, BTV Car Park Passes and RV/Trailer add ons", its tickets page that they'll be sold "at an increased price, later in the year", and neither lists a price. The BTV Car Park Pass is for a car park beside the festival, in the organiser's words "accessible for both single day & multi-day ticketholders"; for campers "it's roughly 100m from General Camp and 400m from Premium. From there, you'll walk your things in", and "You are not allowed to camp with your car in the Car Park." A campervan, motorhome or RV needs a vehicle pass from that later on-sale plus the Trailer/RV add-on. Every Car Pass includes one free saliva drug test at its testing partner BMFHQ on site, and the organiser flags police roadside testing. Anyone arriving without a car is dropped at the Walk-In Camping entrance; Lux guests are collected from a designated spot.

What you can't bring

The festival isn't BYO: alcohol from outside is banned. Also banned: glass, gas cookers and barbecues, fires, drones and generators, speakers larger than 11 x 5 x 5 inches (about 28 x 13 x 13 cm; a small Bluetooth speaker is fine), e-scooters, bikes and skateboards, and nangs. The terms add "Flares, fireworks, sparklers or fire twirling equipment" and "Fires and open flames of any kind", bar animals "excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and Police/emergency service dogs", and require patrons to comply with "total fire ban requirements". The full list is in the organiser's terms. the organiser's terms and conditions

Weather and fire, in the organiser's words

From the terms: "The Event is an all-weather event and will take place in all weather conditions (unless the Promoter determines otherwise in its absolute discretion). You should be prepared for all weather conditions (including while camping). The geographical area in which the Event is situated may be subject to extremes of temperatures, in particular high temperatures during the day, and low temperatures during the night." If the event can't take place because of "extreme weather; bushfires" or the other causes the terms list, the organiser may postpone or cancel it; what that means for a ticket is on the tickets page. The organiser's packing list names "Sunscreen" and "Clothes for hot and cold weather", and its welfare section says: "The basics go a long way: stay hydrated, eat regularly, use sunscreen, wear a hat, and pace yourself."

On site

Water stations are across the site; the organiser says to bring a reusable bottle and "a large refillable vessel for your campsite". There are two General Stores, on Main Street and in the centre of the campground, and camping gear can be hired through a booking portal and returned at the end. Helper Hubs run 24 hours and hand out "sunscreen, sanitary products, electrolytes, earplugs". Medical tents are at the Campground Food Village, the arena entrance and the hill between the Valley Club and the Dance Dome; Crowd Care staff wear purple. Mobile reception is limited: in the organiser's words, "We have doubled the Telstra output for this year's festival", Optus brings in a temporary tower (a "cell on wheels", in the organiser's words), and there's WiFi at the Box Office for emergencies; carry a physical ID in case the phone dies.

Hotel packages instead of a tent

The organiser's accommodation page lists hotel packages of three or four nights, each with festival entry for three or four days and daily transfers, through Megatix, and My Way Travel & Events lists them on its own page: Novotel Geelong, three nights, from $2,667 a person twin share, and Mercure Ballarat, three nights, from $2,248 a person twin share, on My Way's page read 21 October 2026. The organiser's page lists the same packages as room totals, for instance four nights single at Novotel Geelong $4,295.71 (+BF). Every entry ticket the organiser shows is sold out, and the sellers say whether any package remains: on Megatix, read 22 October 2026, the six Novotel rows carry no flag and the six Mercure rows are "Allocation Exhausted"; My Way's page shows "Purchase Now" on the Novotel and "Enquire Now" on the Mercure. Transfers leave the hotel at midday daily and leave the festival after the final set, at about 2am. The accommodation page also lists an ARRIVAL x BTV package through Megatix: a "Melbourne Overnight Stay (27th December)" in a "Shared Bunkhouse or Private Pod at Little Drifter", a pre-party, return transport, a DeLux tent and 4-Day entry, at $3,075.23 for one person, $4,163.01 for two and $5,863 for three, read 21 October 2026; on Megatix, read 22 October 2026, the 2-person row carries no flag, the 3-person row is "Allocation Exhausted", and there is no 1-person row. Geelong is about 45 minutes from the site, Ballarat about 50 and Torquay about 60, each with a direct BTV bus; the buses are on the location page.
