Beyond The Valley 2026/27 dates

Beyond The Valley 2026/27 opens its campground at 8am on Monday 28 December 2026 and the site must be empty by 6pm on Friday 1 January 2027: four nights at Barunah Plains, with New Year's Eve on the Thursday. The organiser's header reads "December 28 → January 01". Its gate hours, arrival windows and check-out are spread over its information page and its terms. Day by day

All times are local time (AEDT).

  • Monday 28 December: campground entry 8am to 8pm; day-pass entry 12pm to 8pm. The terms: "There shall be no entry into the Overall Campgrounds prior to 8am local time at the Event Site on 28th December 2026." The Dance Dome and Dr Dan's have acts listed; the organiser lists none for the Valley Stage this day.
  • Tuesday 29 December: campground 8am to 8pm; day pass 12pm to 8pm.
  • Wednesday 30 December: the same hours.
  • Thursday 31 December: the same hours, and the last day gates open.
  • Friday 1 January 2027: camping access runs "until 12pm local time at the Event Site on 1st January 2027", and "the Event Site must be vacated by 6pm local time at the Event Site on 1st January 2027".

Gates don't reopen after 8pm on any night. A "day pass", in the organiser's words, is an entry ticket without camping for any of the four days; single-day tickets were sold for 29 December, 30 December and New Year's Eve (entry through to 1 January, which the organiser's page also labels "Single Day"). Cars arrive in the window printed on the Car Pass, AM 8am to 2pm or PM 2pm to 8pm, on the date of the entry ticket. Campers can't leave and come back: the organiser runs a "strict no pass-out policy"; multi-day ticket holders staying off site may.

How the 2026/27 sale ran

The lineup was announced on Friday 31 July 2026 (BroadwayWorld; the organiser's page carries no date). A presale with The Daily Aus opened at 10am AEST on Tuesday 4 August, according to BroadwayWorld's listing. The main presale opened at "6 pm, Thursday 6th August" in the organiser's words, with no time zone given; BroadwayWorld has it as 6pm AEST. The allocation sold out in the presale, "exhausted through The Daily Aus and the festival's official pre-sale", as The Music Network reported on 6 August 2026, and the general on-sale planned for Friday 7 August (12pm AEST in BroadwayWorld's listing before the sale) was cancelled. The organiser's information page, read 22 October 2026, sets Monday 2 November 2026 as the payment-plan deadline, with a week's grace after it, and says incomplete plans "will be released back to the public in late November"; its home page says tickets from failed plans "will be released back to the public later in the year". Car passes come in "a separate onsale later in the year, alongside Lux Car Passes, BTV Car Park Passes and RV/Trailer add ons", on a date the organiser says it will announce on its socials. When the Tixel resale opens is stated three ways on the organiser's pages; all three are quoted on the tickets page.

Where it has been held

The first Beyond The Valley was on Phillip Island in 2014; it moved to Lardner Park in 2015 and has been at Barunah Plains since 2022, which the organiser calls its "forever home". Last year's edition, 2025/26, ran from Sunday 28 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026 at Barunah Plains, as Beat reported on 29 August 2025, when it wrote that the edition had "officially sold out in under an hour"; Beat named Dom Dolla, Addison Rae, Kid Cudi and Turnstile as its headliners.

Beyond The Valley 2027

The organiser has announced nothing for any later edition: no dates, no venue, no sale, as of 22 October 2026. This edition's lineup came on 31 July 2026 and its presales ran from 4 August until the allocation sold out, before the planned 7 August release, according to BroadwayWorld and The Music Network; last year, Beat reported the sell-out on 29 August 2025.
